FENCING FOR KUNEKUNES
3 BOARD WITH WIRE
HOG PANELS WITH WOODEN POSTS
HOG PANELS
Fencing is extremely important. While KuneKunes TEND not test fencing if the find a hole they will go through it. If a fence is not tight they will go under it. If a boar wants to get to a sow in heat he will test the fencing and the gate to the max. Piglets can easily get through any fencing except hog panels. I personally do not trust hot wire or electrical netting so we do not use that at all.
T-posts should be no further than 4 feet apart. Wooden posts are 8 feet apart with a tpost in the the middle.
We double fence all boar areas for security and peace of mind.
Piglets are only in areas where there are hog panels.
